This moment broke me. I think you could tell from the beginning how uncomfortable this whole trip made Zayn.  Not because he’s not a good person - quite the opposite - but Zayn’s not ever going to be outwardly emotive like Harry or at ease with children like Louis.  When Zayn is hurting, he hides.  He disappears from the spotlight, he curls in on himself, he tries to self-preserve.  This whole trip, he kept breaking down and walking away or going outside when things became too much.  He needed time to process it all by himself.  

But there was nowhere he could go that he wouldn’t be confronted by abject poverty or a person shoving a camera in his face.  You could tell how intensely private it was when they caught Zayn crying on camera, how intrusive a moment it was - he kept covering his face and trying to suck back his tears in order not to cry in front of people, to not let on how deeply it had affected him.

For an introvert, escaping is important.  Having a safe place to decompress is important.  And Zayn couldn’t escape this.  He couldn’t walk away from it.  It was everywhere. 

What I see in this gif is an introverted person going outside of his comfort zone to take a stranger - a young boy - into his arms.  What I see is Zayn putting aside his own feels of discomfort because his heart is breaking for this boy.  I see the Zayn Malik that Zayn Malik tries to hide.  And it kills me.

For those who were lucky enough to escape reading the actual books, her apparent lack of emotion is 100% accurate to Bella’s character, because Bella is in fact not a character but a blank white wall for fourteen-year-old girls to project themselves onto. Robert Pattinson is not the only one in the cast who hates Twilight, thank you.

Let’s talk about how she got crucified in the media for having an affair with a married man, when that man was her director. And let’s remember that she was called all manner of things for “ruining her relationship with RPattz” when she wasn’t even engaged to the dude, let alone married with kids. But oh no, she gets called a slut because she’s Kristen Stewart, she gets her career fucked because she’s Kristen Stewart, and the dude gets off scott free.

Let’s talk about how she is incredibly shy and anxious (rather, incidentally, like Chris Evans) but does film anyway, because she’s just that awesome.
